Rohit Sharma crushes 264 impacts his route into the record books!

Virat Kohli won the throw against Sri Lanka and decided to bat in the fourth One Day universal in Kolkata. The following 50 overs fit in with the man who was making his rebound and battling to concrete his spot in the playing eleven. It was Rohit Sharma’s day at the Eden Gardens.

The Mumbai based batsman impacted his route into the record books by hitting 264 in 173 conveyances against a hapless Sri Lankan bowling assault. The innings was studded with nine sixes and 33 fours.

In doing so he broke Virendra Sehwag’s prior record of 219 and turned into the main batsman to have hit a twofold hundred twice in Odis.

Interestingly the main three batsmen who’ve gone past the supernatural characteristic of 200 are Indian. The other two being Virendra Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar.

Rohit’s 264 have controlled India to 404 for five batting first. Intrestingly he was on 4 off 16 conveyances when he was dropped by Thisara Perera however then that is the diversion!
